To be honest with you, before going to Ceara, Brazil, my husband and I did not know what to expect there. We were conscious that it could be both, unbelievably good or bad. To our surprise, what we discovered for ourselves was a very pleasant weather, lots of sun, and superb beaches. The recorded history of the Fremont area began on June 9, 1797 when Mission San José was founded by the Spaniard Father Fermin de Lasuen.
