A Be handing In Spokane Review:

A Behanding in Spokane Review reveals that the play revolves around a man who is in search of his missing hand, two crooks who claim to have the missing hand and a nosy hotel clerk. The play follows McDonagh's signature dark humor style wherein the oddities and coarseness of his characters provide a different brand of entertainment.

In “Behanding” Christopher Walken plays the role of Carmichael " the man who lost his severed appendages and has been searching for them for five decades. The unique nuances displayed by Chris are unparalleled. Going further in A Behanding in Spokane Review, the bizarre tale suddenly takes a twist when a con couple Toby and Marilyn (played by Anthony Mackie and Zoe Kazan) claim to have the severed hand in a bid to dupe the hapless man and make a quick buck. They all meet in an unnamed hotel (the backdrop of the play) and then in comes the distinctively obsessed hotel clerk called – (played by Sam Rockwell) who is craving for some excitement in his life.

Walken(Carmichael), a seasoned American actor has also played the lead in many Shakespeare plays. He entertains the audience thoroughly with his sarcasm and dark humor – particularly when relating the monologue describing how he lost his hand. Likewise, the rather demented hotel clerk played by Sam is another gem. He delivers the best monologue in the play with spontaneity. A Behanding in Spokane Review will certainly help you decide whether you should watch the play or not. Sam Rockwell has acted in a host of movies. He is also a member of Labyrinth Theater Company. Zoe Kazan and Anthony Mackie, the con couple, have contributed to the dark humor; at places, their act is hilarious and has the audience in splits. Anthony Mackie (of The Hurt Locker fame) has acted in many television series, films, Off-Broadway and Broadway plays.
